GENEROUS donations are needed to help support services for the elderly.
Accrington’s Age UK shop in Whalley Road are hoping people will donate cash and goods. The shop has launched an appeal to raise awareness of a new easy to use text donation service.
Supporters of Age UK can use the textgiving service which sees funds donated towards activities for the elderly.
The shop is also in need of clothes, shoes and handbags which generates income to continue the charities service for elderly in Lancashire.
To help the charity, which hosts tea dances, tai chi and luncheon clubs in the town, text AUKL01£3 to 70070.
