A NEW group to unite women of different faith communities could be coming to Lancashire.
Anjum Anwar, dialogue development officer at Blackburn Cathedral, wants to replicate the Leicestershire based Muslim Christian Women's Network in the county.
It aims to connect women of different religions.
The network, launched at this week’s Women in Faith conference in Leicester, is part of the Christian Muslim Forum founded in 2006.
Julian Bond, director of the forum, said: “The aim is to show people what Christian and Muslim women are doing in Leicester.”
Ms Anwar said she was keen to replicate it in Blackburn.
She said: "A lot of good work has been done by mosques and we want to continue this good work.
