BLACKBURN MP Jack Straw will have a busy weekend, starting with a 9.30am visit to Brookhouse Primary School on Friday.
At 10.45am he will visit Blackburn Foodbank, before holding constituency surgeries, from 3pm to 4pm at Ivy Street Community Centre, and from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at Audley Sports and Community Centre.
On Friday, at 7.15pm, Mr Straw will attend a reception in recognition of his achievement of becoming the longest-serving MP for Blackburn, organised by Blackburn Labour Party, at Blakey’s Bar, Northgate.
On Saturday, he will hold an advice surgery, at Bangor Street Community Centre, from 9am to 10am.
