A FRESH alert has been issued by firefighters after a second blaze in a week involving a motor home in Burnley.
Firefighters were called to a property in Netherwood Road just before 4.30am on Saturday after flames from a motor home spread to a nearby Mercedes Vito van.
Crews initially encountered difficulties as gas cylinders were present inside the motor home but they eventually brought the blaze under control.
An investigation is under way but the cause of the blaze is not though to be suspicious.
Crew manager Anthony Harrison said owners should consider fitting extra smoke detectors to such vehicles or caravans.
