Delays continue on the M66 this afternoon after a lorry overturned this morning.
The incident happened at 6.45am on the northbound carriageway between junction one of the M66 and the Edenfield bypass.
The lorry, carrying cardboard, completely blocked the northbound carriageway.
Congestion remains in the M66 as far as Junction 3.
Work continues to revocer the vehicle and a diversion has been put in place - traffic should follow solid black triangle symbols along the A56 Manchester Road.
Officers said there were no injuries reported.
