MOBILITY scooter users must book in advance to use a scooter at this year’s Goosnargh and Longridge Agricultural Show.
The move by Clitheroe-based charity Shop Mobility has been made to better protect the scooters, which cost up to £5,000, following a theft at last year’s event.
Simon O’Rourke of Shop Mobility said: “It’s a massive shame that we have to do this but we have to protect what we have.
“Bookings can be made through us and I’m sure this will not cause disruption.
“I hope that last year’s incident does not happen again.”
This year’s show, which will be held on Friday, June 28, will include vintage vehicles, a raffle, a farmers’ market and crafts.
