A SPONSORED 874-mile cycle raised more than £3,000 towards sending a poorly four-year-old for treatment in the US. Team Sublime, made up of members of Whitehall Hotel-based Sublime Fitness, took on the relay challenge using an exercise bike for the Sam Shaw Appeal.
The group cycled the equivalent of Land’s End to John O’Groats. When all the sponsorship was counted, £3,188 had been raised.
The parents of Sam Shaw need to raise £250,000 to send the Hoddlesden neuroblastoma sufferer to the US for potentially life-saving immunotherapy treatment.
