ST Mary Magdalene Church, in Clitheroe, is appealing for new bell ringers to volunteer.
A series of taster sessions are to be held on Saturday, July 20, with people advised to sign up quickly as places are limited.
Vicar Andy Froud said: “We are very proud of our fine bell ringing tradition here at St Mary Magdalene and, while the spire was being rebuilt, we sadly had to stop ringing.
“Now we have a chance to bring new people into our team of bell ringers.”
Other activities are also planned for Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, including an opportunity to explore the workings of the church’s organ with St Mary’s organist and choirmaster James Lonsdale.
There will also be a chance to see, and comment, on plans for the proposed renovation and extension of the church.
