FORMER Blackburn Rovers captain Garry Flitcroft has amended plans to build seven luxury eco-houses on the site of a former mill in Chapeltown.
Mr Flitcroft, who played for Rovers for 10 years, making more than 250 appearances, was controversially granted permission to build on the land in 2004.
But the Chorley FC boss has now lodged an amendment to those plans with Blackburn with Darwen Council, which would see the homes moved within the plot.
Under the proposal, six of the homes would move forward three metres, with one remaining where it was because of a protected tree.
Each house would also move sideways slightly.
