A NEW look for the main entrance to a valley health centre has been drawn up by NHS bosses.
Proposals by Bury Primary Care NHS Trust will provide a more welcoming approach to Ramsbottom Health Centre in Carr Street.
Included is a new ramp for disabled patients, and a set of steps and handrails, which will replace a steep slope outside the premises, and wider doors. Extra office space will also be created on the first floor.
The centre is not the only one to benefit from a new look, as NHS East Lancashire finishes an extensive upgrade to Haslingden’s Manchester Road clinic.
