LANCASHIRE’S most wanted man has been arrested by police in London.
Ivan Leach, also known as Lee Cyrus, was the subject of a nationwide manhunt after absconding from North Sea Camp open prison in Boston, Lincolnshire, on October 9.
Preston-born Leach, 47, was spotted in Clayton-le-Woods and Brindle, near Chorley, last month and previously had an address in Blackburn.
A £3,000 reward was offered by detectives for anyone who could provide information leading to Leach’s arrest.
He was given a life sentence with a minimum tariff of five years in 2005 for robbing a 90-year-old woman.
Lancashire Police said he was arrested in the early hours of December 2 in Camden in connection with a number of offences and is now in custody at a north London police station.
