INSPECTORS have praised a Blackburn primary school for its progress and leadership.
Intack Primary, Whitebirk Road, was placed in special measures in December 2006 until 2008.
It has now been rated ‘good’ by inspectors – an improvement on the previous ‘satisfactory’ rating.
There are 244 pupils on the register and inspectors said: “This is a good school. Pupils make good progress from low starting points and attain broadly average standards by the end of Year 6.
Headteacher Linda McLanachan said: “I’d like to thank my staff for their hard work and complete belief in Intack.”
