PLACE Margaret Ann (formerly Merrin) On 6th February 2024, Margaret passed peacefully with grace and dignity at her home with her family and friends by her side aged 100 years. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Fred, for over 60 years. A proud and loving sister to Barry and Margaret. A cherished auntie to her niece Sharon and her niece and nephews Jayne, Shawn and Steven also great nieces and nephews Abbey, Chase, Reid and Renee. Margaret was a loyal friend to many. A beautiful lady who has left a wonderful legacy, to all who were lucky enough to have loved and known her. Forever in our hearts, She will be greatly missed. Funeral service and cremation will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday 28th February 2024 at 11:40am Followed by a celebration of her life at Sparth House Hotel, Clayton-Le-Moors, Accrington. Family flowers only please, but donations if so desired are being received for the East Lancashire Hospice c/o Wolstenholme Funeral Directors, Willows Lane, Accrington, BB5 0RT 01254 232604.

Aunt Peggy was a big part of my childhood in England .It was so nice to speak to her a while ago. She was a very special sister to my dad. Only loving and fond memories of her.

We will miss our dear Aunty Peggy but cherish our memories of her. A beautiful woman inside and out who always made everyone around her fell special. We will miss her heart felt Christmas letters that she never failed to send. May she rest in peace and unite with the love of her life Fred. Shawn, Pam, Reid & Renee.
