O'TOOLE Christopher Anthony Sadly, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on the 9th of November 2023. Chris husband of the late Pat, beloved father and father-in-law, devoted grandad, cherished brother and uncle and loving friend to many. Chris will be dearly missed. Chris's funeral service will take place on Friday 17th of November at St Albans Church at 2.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations gracefully received c/o the family to East Lancashire Hospice. Rest in Peace Dad.
A proud Dubliner who lived a very full life, he lived in the UK since his teens, first in London and later Blackburn, he served in the Royal Signals and was a Chelsea & Rovers fan. He worked at Star Paper Mill and Matthew Brown Brewery where he was popular with lots of friends but had to retire early through injury following a work accident in Shadsworth.
Together with Mum again now..... old age is a very cruel thing.
