BRIGGS Geoffrey With deep sadness we announce the death at his home on 21st October of Geoff, the loving husband of the late Elsie. Dearest and much loved dad of Paula and Carolyn, father-in-law of Mike and very proud grampsy of six grandchildren, brother of Lyndon and the late John, devoted partner of Ann with whom he shared a passion for Blackburn Rovers, The Church and Oswaldtwistle Cricket Club. He played for West Ham Youth Team and played for the cricket club for many years. The funeral will be held at Accrington Crematorium at 1pm on the 9th November. Family flowers only but if desired donations may be made via Fred Talbot Funeral Services, Pleckgate Road to the East Lancashire Hospice.
