FRENCH Mavis (Mave) (formerly Wilson, née Lang) On 20th May 2023, peacefully at Springhill Care Home, Mavis, aged 85 years, formerly of Fairhope Court, Blackburn. The dearly loved mum of Paul, Mark, David and Susan, dear mother-in-law of Shirley, Janet, Lisa and Andy, much loved grandma of Jordan, Lauren, Sam, Holly, Nick, Jack and George, devoted great-grandma of Lewis, Isaac, Franklin, Florrie, Beatrix, Indy and Lowe, much loved wife of the late Ken French, dear step-mum of Beverley, Toni and Gary and dear friend of Tracy. At rest in the Grimshaw Park Funeral Home. Service at Sacred Heart Church, Blackburn on Thursday 1st June at 11am prior to cremation at Pleasington at 12 noon. Ladies are invited to wear a splash of colour in their outfit to reflect Mum's love of life, art and colour.
