ROSCOE Philip Of Cherry Tree, Blackburn died peacefully on Sunday 23rd April at the Feng Shui House care home. He was 94. Born on March 11th 1929. A long life lived well. He married Valerie Philipson (died 2007) and had 3 children, Helen, Philip and Janice. He was well loved by all who knew him. Worked as a civil servant for many years and was a quality cricketer and snooker player. He will be greatly missed and will live on in our memories. His memorial gathering will be at Cherry Tree Cricket Club on Friday 26th May at 3pm. Donations can be made to Alzheimers.org.uk
