BRIGHOUSE James "Jim" James Brighouse of Skye Crescent, Shadsworth, Blackburn passed away peacefully in East Lancashire Hospice, Blackburn on Tuesday 4th April 2023, aged 83. He was the dearly loved husband of Brenda, a much loved father to Debbie, Mark and Ian, father in law to Ian and Theresa, a devoted grandad to Carl, Ryan, Reece and Matthew, a great grandad to Cherisse and Kianna and a brother to the late Jack and Connie. After leaving school he trained as a joiner and spent most of his working life employed within the building trade. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed many holidays abroad. The funeral will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday 9th May at Pleasington Crematorium, Blackburn. Family flowers only please and donations to East Lancashire Hospice. Happy memories of Jim when he mated with my husband Roland as teenagers. They are together again as Roland passed away on the 7th April. They will no doubt be enjoying a pint in the Clifton Arms as they did years ago.
