BACKHOUSE Doreen (nee Nelson) Died peacefully on the 14th February 2023 at Hazeldene Care Home. Doreen, aged 100, was the loving wife of the late Harry and for many years was well known from the corner shop on Eldon Road Blackburn. She was the adored mother of Angela, Roger and John, and dear mother-in-law of Tina and Elizabeth. Loving grandma of Anastasia, Harry, Laura and Amy, and great-grandma of Max, Amelie, Alexander and Sophia, and of Isla and Evelyn. Doreen was a loved aunt and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Pleasington Crematorium Chapel Friday 10th March 2023 at 12.15pm.
