CHEW Rhoda On Monday 24th October 2022, peacefully at Birchfield Care Home, surrounded by her loving family, Rhoda, aged 91 years, formerly of Cromer Place, Blackburn. Dearly loved wife of the late Ken, much loved mum of Diane and Sandra, loved mother-in-law of Trevor and Ian, treasured grandma of Alison and Laura, cherished great grandma of Aria and George and a dear sister of the late Derek. Special thanks to Birchfield Care Home for all their care and support. An 11.30 am service and committal will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Tuesday 8th November. Family flowers only please, donations may be made in memory of Rhoda to The Salvation Army c/o Waring McKenna Funeralcare, 45 Grimshaw Park, Blackburn, BB2 3AG. All enquiries Tel. 01254 51577.

Condolences to Diane and family. I have very fond memories of ‘calling’ for Diane on way to school and your mum was always so smiley and welcoming. Would invite me in to wait for Diane. It seemed to me that your mum kept a very well organised and loving home. A lovely lady and wonderful mum. X Julie Wood ( nee Baron )
