CAVANNAGH Ian Ian passed away surrounded by his family in Royal Blackburn Hospital on 12th of October, 2022 aged 80 years. Ian lived in Wiswell, near Whalley. He was a loving husband to Margaret and the very best father to Michael and Pamela, a doting 'Papa' to grandchildren Patrick, Eugene, Cara and Rae and brilliant father-in-law to Larana and Simon. The committal will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday 26th October at 11.00am prior to the Memorial Service at Whalley Parish Church at 12 noon. Donations in memory of Ian are being gratefully received on behalf of The East Lancashire Hospice c/o www.champfunerals.com/obituaries or handed to the Funeral Director. I am so very sorry to hear of Ian’s passing, he was a lovely man whom I remembered from my childhood when he worked alongside side my dad Kevin Holden, who sadly passed away shortly after Ian on the 21st of October , 2022..
