SMITH Malcolm M.B.E. Peacefully on Monday 3rd October 2022 at The East Lancs Hospice. Malcolm aged 77years. The dearly loved husband of Caroline, a much loved father of Rachel, dear father in law of Stephen and a devoted grandad of Joe. Malcolm will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. A service will be held at 2.30pm on Thursday 20th October 2022 at Samlesbury Hall, prior to a cremation at Pleasington Crematorium. Family flowers only, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Malcolm to The Royal Navy Benevolent Trust or The East Lancs Hospice, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq. A dear friend and colleague, a leading armed forces champion who dedicated his life to the service to the Crown, the welfare support of serving members and veterans of HM armed forces. He was a worthy recipient of the MBE for his support of those trying to rehabilitate through the criminal justice system.
Sadly missed.
