COUNSELL Joan (née ADAMS) On Monday 10th October, 2022, peacefully, in her sleep, at Acorn House Care Centre, Joan, aged 82 years, of Brownhill Drive, Blackburn. Beloved wife of the late Joe, much loved mum of Bernard, Brian, Jen and the late Christine, a loving gran and great gran and a dear sister of David and the late Sam. The family would like to thank the doctor, nurses and staff at Acorn House for all their care and support. At rest in the Grimshaw Park funeral home from where the cortege will leave on Friday 21st October for a 10.00 am service and committal at Pleasington Crematorium. Flowers will be received or, if preferred, donations may be made in memory of Joan to the East Lancashire Hospice c/o Waring McKenna Funeralcare, 45 Grimshaw Park, Blackburn, BB2 3AG.
