SMITH Vera On Thursday September 29th 2022 peacefully at Thorncliffe Nursing Home and late of Hindle Court, Darwen, Vera aged 95 years. The beloved wife of the late Frank, much loved mother of Gordon, Hilary, Simon and the late Ian, dear mother-in-law of Janet, Tim and Suzanne, loving grandma of Dominic, Molly, Annabelle, Noah and the late Joshua and great grandma of Charlie. The family would like to thank Doctor Muzaffar, Thorncliffe Nursing Home and the district nurses for all their kindness and care. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen. The funeral service and committal will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Thursday October 13th at 3.00pm.
