WOOD Marilyn 'Mal' It is with unimaginable sorrow that I have to announce the death of my wife Mal. She has lost her brave battle with cancer. Mal passed away at East Lancashire Hospice aged 73 years, on Wednesday 31st August 2022. The dearly loved wife of Roy, much loved mother of Kurt and Greg, cherished mother in law to Kirsten, treasured grandma of Jade, Minnie, Phoebe and Oliver, devoted great grandma of Roman, loving sister to Terry and David and a very good friend to many. Mal's funeral service will be held at Pleasington Crematorium on Tuesday 13th September 2022 at 12.15pm. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Duckworth Street, Darwen. Family flowers only please but donations can be made in Mal's memory to Cancer Research UK. All enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare, 234 Duckworth Street, Darwen, BB3 1PX. Tel. 01254 701145
