HUGHES Patrick David (Pat) on Sunday 14th August 2022 peacefully at Eachstep Care Home, Blackburn, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Christine, dearly loved father of Stephen and Peter, adored grandfather of Lucy, Finn, Thomas and Orla and a loving uncle and friend to many. Pat was a devoted family man and will be sorely missed. He saw active service with the Royal Corps of Signals and was known locally for running the newsagents in Feniscliffe for many years. The funeral service will be held at Pleasington Crematorium at 12:15pm on Friday 26th August 2022, followed by a wake at Cherry Tree Cricket Club. Family flowers only please or donations to Asthma & Lung UK c/o the Funeral Director. The family would also like to say a special thank-you to all of the wonderful carers and nurses at Eachstep.
