DAVEY José Peacefully on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 at Home, Fortified by the Rites of The Holy Mother Church, José aged 83 years. The dearly loved wife of Ron, a much loved mother of Simon, Marianne and the late John, a devoted grandma of Joshua, Nathaniel, Millie and Gabriel. "Mrs D" was widely known as the proprietor of Blackburn Dance Centre in the 80s and 90s, followed by 10 years serving as a magistrate. José will be very much missed by her loving family, many friends and former pupils. A service will be held at Holy Souls RC Church on Friday 8th July 2022 at 10 am, followed by an interment at Great Harwood Cemetery. At the request of the family please wear colourful attire (leg warmers optional!). Flowers will be received at the Chapel of Rest, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of José to C.A.F.O.D. or Help for Heroes, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq.
