SHARP George Born in Downham, Lancashire in 1934 George passed away peacefully in the East Lancs Hospice on Thursday 16th June, with his daughters by his side. George was the devoted husband of the late Florence, dad of Deborah and Julie and father-in-law of Richard and Andrew. He was best friend and father figure to his three grandchildren Andrew, Leanne and Bethany and adored great grandad George of Harry, Elle and Darcy. George will be sadly missed but remembered with affection by his family and friends. The funeral will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Wednesday 29th June at 11.30am. If anyone would like to make a donation in George's memory, the family's wishes are that these go to the East Lancs Hospice where he received outstanding care by all, c/o Alty's Funeral Service, Broomfield Place, Blackburn BB2 1XF.
