WHITTAKER, Walter Hargreaves Passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday 3rd May 2022, aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Ruth, loving father to Linda Owen and devoted partner to Ann. Walter had worked in Accounts for the Lancashire Evening Telegraph from 1980-1998 when he retired. His funeral takes place on Friday 20th May 2022, 2.30pm at Haslingden Methodist Church, Manchester Rd, followed by his burial at Haslingden Cemetery. Family flowers only.
