I'm looking for celebrationsLilian Matthews
Published on 29/04/2016
LILIAN MATTHEWS Christine, Paul and family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relations, friends, past colleagues, neighbours and the congregation of The Church of the Saviour for all the many cards, letters, telephone calls, prayers and donations they have received during their great loss. We would like to thank Amanda Flanagan and her team of district nurses who looked after Lilian over the last four years so lovingly. The staff of B18 and C4 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, to Dr Mowbray (retired) and Dr Bristow of Little Harwood for their kindness, for the Carers of Comfort Call especially Sonia, Chris and Odeil. To Rev R Marshall and Mr J Ashcroft for the lovely words and moving tributes and organising a wonderful and memorable service. To Rev Kevin Logan for his reading, to Mrs Hilda Parker, organist whose playing contributed to the occasion. To Carol and Dorothy for the church flowers, to Karen from the Pick of the Bunch for the amazing wreaths and the ladies of the church, Ann, Jean and Mavis for assisting. To Rachel for printing the service sheets, and to Alty's for their outstanding professional service. Special thanks to Mavis and Brian who have kept a close eye on mum over the years. God Bless you all. Loves last gift remembrance. And to everyone I have forgotten.
