Timmy Mallett is now second favourite to win I'm A Celebrity...
Despite irritating his camp mates with his constant laughter and mocking and finding himself - along with Dollar singer David Van Day - increasingly isolated from the other celebrities, bookmakers have slashed the odds on him walking away as King of the Jungle from 33-1 to just 6-1.
Only ex-EastEnders actor Joe Swash is being viewed as more likely to win.
Rupert Adams, spokesman for bookmakers William Hill, said: "Timmy Mallett has gone from zero to hero and he could easily go on to win this."
Meanwhile, the bookmakers also report that over 60 per cent of betting on the first eviction has gone on former Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Brian Paddick, making him 7-4 favourite to go.
Late arrival David has taken 30 per cent of bets, resulting in him being installed at 2-1 to go in the first eviction tomorrow.
