Timmy Mallett infuriated the rest of the contestants by laughing throughout the latest Bushtucker trial.
The TV presenter cackled as Robert Kilroy-Silk attempted the live task - eventually walking away with 12 stars for the group after successfully completing the Jungle Gym - and his antics incensed many members of the group.
Complaining that Timmy kept winking at him, Brian Paddick said to Martina Navratilova: "He's doing it deliberately.
"It's a wind-up to create a situation because I gave him a filthy look because he was still giggling.
"During the trial all he could hear was this cackling.
"You're so trying to concentrate and focus on what you're doing."
A furious Martina replied: "Robert was feeling so good about himself and he just brought him down."
Later, the subject of Timmy's chortles once again arose when Joe Swash confessed he thinks Timmy is immature and unable to relate to others.
Joe said: "I'm surprised Robert didn't give Timmy one.
"He walked up the stairs and Timmy wouldn't stop laughing.
"You know when you're a kid and someone says don't do that and instead of stopping you don't want to lose face so instead of stopping you carry on doing it because it's a nervous thing.
"I don't think he's got the best people skills."
Timmy later admitted he knew his laughter could have been interpreted badly, but assured the others he bore Robert no ill-will and was simply being "mischievous".
The presenter went on to apologise to Robert, telling him he was a "big hero" for his plucky performance in the trial.
