YOUNG performers will take to the stage this weekend for a production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Brunshaw Action Group will be performing the musical on Friday and Saturday, January 6 and 7 at Burnley Youth Theatre, Queens Park Road.
Set in 1905 on the eve of the Russian Revolution, Fiddler on the Roof takes place in Anatevka, a small Jewish village in Russia.
The story revolves around the dairyman Tevye and his attempts to preserve his family's traditions in the face of a changing world.
A group spokesman said: "It covers the full range of emotions, presenting young performers from Burnley and surrounding areas with unique acting challenges under the producers Michael Bailey and Diane Duckworth and direction of Hannah Vercoe."
Organisers say tickets are selling fast and have already sold out for the Saturday matinee. For tickets call 01282 715400 or 07984 145141.
