Diana Vickers’ success in the West End could see her crowned the stage’s best loved newcomer.
The X Factor star, who is from Huncoat, has been shortlisted for London Newcomer of the Year in the What's On Stage Awards, up against the likes of Lenny Henry in Othello and Nicholas Hoult in New Boy.
Diana is currently in second place. Public votes for the title are being registered at whatsonstage.com.
