YOUNG actors at Nelson & Colne College staged an evening of hilarity, high jinks and farcical humour with a production of Hypochondria last week.
The second year performing arts students had the audience rolling in the aisles with their interpretation of the Richard Bean version of Moliere’s farce.
The performance was just a step on the ladder for the talented students, who all hope to progress on to drama courses after graduating from college.
Ciaran Wilson, who played the lead part of Argon, was singled out for particular praise. Ciaran will go onto The Arden School of Theatre.
Lesley Playfer, section leader for performing arts said: "The feedback we have received has been extremely positive and complementary.
"It has been a pleasure to watch each of the students develop into confident and able performers and we are very proud of their achievements."
