A DRAMA teacher from Darwen is set to direct one of Liverpool’s biggest Capital of Culture showcases.
Carly Henderson, 21, of Cranberry Lane, has been working on the project Portrait of a Nation for a year with a group of 14 to 18 year olds.
It is a comedy and drama production examining the young people’s ethnic backgrounds and what it is like growing up in 21st century Britain.
Carly, a former St Wilfrid’s High School pupil graduated from Liverpool John Moores University this summer with a first class drama degree.
