IT’S unlikely you’ll see a more enjoyable show this year than this.
Musical comedy duo Frisky and Mannish by their own admission mess around with pop songs but the show is so much more than that.
It’s clever, original and laugh-out-loud funny throughout.
Both Laura Corcoran (Frisky) and Matthew Floyd Jones (Mannish) could easily have highly successful careers in the pop world should they choose to do so.
In fact, you could argue they are actually too talented to fit into the manufactured world of the autotune.
But together, they are an irresistable force, mixing up styles so that the Carpenters get the N-Dubz treatment, Kate Nash duets with Kate Bush and the world of Grime will never be the same again.
It’s impossible to do a Frisky and Mannish show justice in a review. It’s something that has to be experienced in the flesh.
And the good news - the duo are back in East Lancashire at King George’s Hall, Blackburn on Friday, November 9.
If you love music and comedy then do yourself a favour - go along. These are superstars in the making.
