A new vision of hell from the pooled creative genius behind No More Heroes, Resident Evil and Silent Hill combines visceral ‘Grindhouse’ style action with a psychologically thrilling atmosphere, to create a horror experience you’ll really want to stick with – albeit from behind the sofa.
Shadows Of The Damned succeeds because it is unashamedly naughty, gory and horrifying. 4/5
