Perhaps one of the biggest battles raging right now in the realms of kids’ trading-card games is that of Bakugan vs Pokemon.
The young upstart vs the old-stager.
In reality, the innovative, magnetic ball rolling-game mechanism makes for a really engaging and engrossing experience, yet translating that to the dual-screen and stylus proves to be a little trickier.
Sure, all the key elements are there — the rolling bit, the monster battles, plus a nice bit of character customisation at the beginning — but the mini-games and battles themselves are far too simplistic.
