Ben Berhin, Scotland Bank Terrace, Blackburn.
The wind that blows o'er the tor,
Brings back memories of days of yore,
The highlands abound in purple heather,
All the trout in the streams and the bracing weather.
The highlanders in all their glory,
They love to tell a good old story.
Of days gone by about the Claymore and dirk,
Not a man among them from a battle would shirk.
In present times where people read a lot,
They can enjoy the books of Burns and Scott.
Mountains, the forests meandering rivers in flow,
Thoughts of Scotland ingrained in the mind will never go.
