By Bill Austin, Bute Road, Blackburn.
He's like any other little lad,
the games he likes to play.
Those sparkling eyes, that pretty face,
they please me very day.
He takes to rolling on his back,
his legs up in the air,
for exhibiting his agility,
he seems to have a flair.
He learned to wash his little face
at a very early age,
his demeanour is quite placid,
I've not seen him in a rage.
His love I hold within my heart,
I will always cherish that:
oh no, he's not a little boy,
he's my lovely ginger cat.
