Montana Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2010, £7.49, Sainsbury’s New Zealand’s best-known brand, Montana was first to create Sauvignon Blanc in the Marlborough region — now there are scores of winemakers.
The price is a £2.50 reduction on a thirst-quenching white full of grapefruit and tropical flavours. It’s 13.5% alcohol and consistently good.
