Sacred Hill is a family-own winery established 22 years ago in what has during that time become the home of the world's best, and most affordable, Sauvignon Blanc wines - New Zealand's Marlborough region.
This example is less dry than many and contains tropical fruit flavours like pineapple and even, suitably, some Kiwi fruit.
The screw top is handy and the price is fair for a stylish white.
Sacred Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2007, £7.99, Morrisons.
