A tale of two Sauvignon Blancs today from the Wine Society, a 140-year-old co-operative which you can buy from after paying a one-off lifetime £40 fee. This is their own-label Kiwi effort, a crisp, gooseberry-filled dry white made by the world-famous winery of Villa Maria. It is 13% alcohol and a very good buy.
