Verdicchio is a classic central Italian white produced from the grape of the same name near Ancona where its full name is Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.
The example from Sainsbury’s own Taste the Difference label is light, bright and not too dry with lemon and grapefruit flavours.
The distinctively-shaped bottle is easy to spot and it’s great value.
