Tarrango is a special grape developed in Australia in the 1960s by crossing sultanas and Portugal’s Touriga variety to produce a kind of ‘down under’ Beaujolais which has become a firm favourite of family firm Brown Brothers. It’s a light, 12.5%, cherry and raspberry tasting red that has to be drunk chilled and is really refreshing.
