ALTHOUGH it shares with New Zealand and of course Burgundy the right sort of cooler climate for Pinot Noir grapes, not a lot are grown in Chile.
But this example from the Bio Bio Valley in the country's southernmost wine region shows just what can be done.
It's a very pleasant, delicate (reasonable 13.5%), smooth Pinot without the full-on flavours that can make some such wines too overpowering.
A quality quaff.
