If you like light, dry white wine with the crisp flavours of green apple and pear you should try Gavi.
The name is the town in the north west of Italy, bordering France, and the northerly climate gives it that extra bit of acidity.
The grape is Italy’s Cortese. Alcohol is a sensible 12% and it’s delicious.
