INDIAN Cinema fans worldwide can vote for their favourite film of the last year to receive a top industry award.
The nominations for the International Indian Film Academy Awards have been released for this year’s ceremony, being held in Toronto at the end of the year.
Year on year, industry stalwarts, actors, directors, producers, technicians and composers decide the nominations for the performance categories of the prestigious awards.
And each year thousands of cinema fans cast their votes to crown the winners across 15 categories.
The 2011 ceremony, which will feature a tribute to a legend of Indian Cinema, Raj Kapoor, looks set to receive the largest response in the event’s history.
