NORTH American artist Master-D has announced a new collaboration with the international king of desi hip-hop Bohemia.
The pair come together to deliver a unique hip-hop flavour tune in Bengali and Punjabi.
Tension Stress is a one of a kind experience designed for world music fans and hip-hop lovers across the globe.
The artist and producer is considered to be the first Bangla urban artist to sign with a major label and was recently added to the list of headline performers at the massive south Asian festival – DesiFest 2015 alongside Zack Knight and Mickey Singh.
It was also recently announced that Master-D charted on the Indian television channel MTV Indies.
He is the very first Bangla urban artist to have a hit single Desi Chick on heavy rotation alongside talented artists like Apache Indian, Hard Kaur and Jal.
Master -D said: “I’m very excited about this release.
“I’m super-proud to be collaborating with the Bohemia as he really is the king of desi hip-hop and having him feature on Tension Stress which to me is my major debut single is fantastic.
“This is all about my movement to revolutionise the Bangla music industry and that’s been a long time coming!”
With his urban influences, Master-D amassed more than 10,000 downloads for Aye Raat.
At the time he said: ““I wanted to step it up after my Twitter and Facebook feed blew up with comments from Bengali fans from around the world – they never heard a song like Aye Raat.
“Actually radio stations have never heard a song like it either.
“So I decided I’d connect back with Amit who created amazing visuals for Baarish and give everyone the real urban feel with Desi Chick.”
Tension Stress was released worldwide on May 15 via Universal Music India and Bilz Music and is supported by a video, shot on location in in Palm Springs LA.
